globalization first-hand through the Study Abroad programs. \u00a0Students spend 10 days with a faculty member in<em><strong>\u00a0Costa Rica or China<\/strong><\/em>, participating in interactive sessions with local business professionals, enjoying the local culture and earning up to six hours of credit in business courses. Temperatures\u00a0in the city average between 70 and 75 degrees\u00a0Fahrenheit. During May, expect sun throughout the\u00a0morning and possible rain in the afternoon. Costa Rica\u00a0is an oasis of political and economic stability in Central America. \u00a0The country\u2019s natural\u00a0attractions draw tourists from all over the world. Government\u00a0conservation policies have made Costa Rica\u00a0an ecotourism heaven, with some of the region\u2019s best\u00a0surfing and fishing amid its pristine beaches.<\/p><p>Students will visit a number of\u00a0public and private, U.S. and Costa Rican companies,\u00a0including Caf\u00e9 Britt, The Butterfly Farm, and\u00a0Boston Scientific, as well as Earth University.
