In conjunction with the 6.9 million dollar expansion project, the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Foundation and the Colonel Athletic Association has created a campaign that will allow donors to name all areas of the BoucvaltÌýAthletic Complex while providing for current and future needs.Ìý

The goal of the campaign will be to name all areas of the new facility in an effort to raise funds whichÌýwill allow ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Athletics to invest a portion into an endowment and use the other funds for upkeep and maintenanceÌýwithin the department.Ìý

“This campaign is a unique opportunity for our supporters to not only help us continue to build for the future, but they can also be personally connected to our wonderful facility,” saidÌý, ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Director of Athletics. “This project is the first of its kind in our history and we want our community to be a part of it.”

Each new room or area of the BoucvaltÌýAthletic Complex will be permitted to be named after an individual, family and/or business as per guidelines set forth by the state of Louisiana, ÐÓ°É´«Ã½, and the Donor Gifts Agreement.ÌýThe opportunity will allow donors to pay off their investment over a five-year period, and the naming rights to the spaceÌýfor 15 years.Ìý

THE BOUCVALTÌýATHLETIC COMPLEX
The BoucvaltÌýAthletic Complex became a reality in the summer of 2019 when local businessman Trey Boucvalt donated a gift of $2.52 million to fund the project. A former assistant football coach at ÐÓ°É´«Ã½, Boucvalt is the founder and chief executive officer of several companies that include environmental emergency response and management services, real estate investments and oilfield labor consulting.Ìý
