All are welcome to register<\/u><\/b><\/span><\/div>

Entry & Teams<\/u><\/strong><\/p>

Entry Fee: $100 per player<\/p>

Teams: 4 players per team ($400 per team)<\/p>

Bonus Option: For an additional $100, teams may add a 5th player who is a ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ player of their choice.<\/p>

Selections first come, first serve<\/p>

Once a ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ player is chosen, they cannot be selected by another team.<\/p>

Format<\/u><\/strong><\/p>

Each player will receive 10 pitches per round.<\/p>

Scoring is based on distance:<\/p>

Clearing the first fence = 1 point<\/p>

Clearing the second fence = 2 points<\/p>

Clearing the true\u00a0home\u00a0run\u00a0fence = 5 points<\/p>

Team scores will be calculated by average (total points \u00f7 number of players) so that 4-player and 5-player teams are on equal footing.<\/p>

Batting Order<\/u><\/strong><\/p>

Teams determine their own batting order before each round.<\/p>

Each player completes their 10 pitches before the next teammate steps in.<\/p>

Pitching<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

No swing = no pitch counted.<\/p>

Any swing that does not result in the ball clearing a fence simply does not count toward the score.<\/p>

Advancement<\/u><\/strong><\/p>

After the first round, the teams with the highest average point totals advance to the semifinals.<\/p>

Winners of the semifinals advance to the final round.<\/p>

In case of a tie, there will be a 5-pitch swing-off until the tie is broken.<\/p>

Additional Notes<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

Players may bring their own bats, but bats will also be provided at the event.<\/p>

Balls hit off the foul pole and are considered the highest fence they clear.<\/p>

Any disputes will be settled by the event organizer(s).<\/p>

Home Run Derby Showcase<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

After the Alumni & Friends Derby concludes, the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Baseball Team will take the field for their own Home Run Derby showcase , giving fans a chance to watch the Colonels put on a power display!<\/p><\/div><\/div>
