How are gifts to our Sport Specific Booster Clubs used?<\/strong> Gifts to sport specific booster clubs are used by that sport’s Head Coach for operational expenses including food, travel, equipment, and other needs throughout the season.<\/p>

What separates each sport specific booster club such as: HuddleUp!, Coaches Committee, Fast Break Club, Diamond Club, Fast Break, Record Setters, Goal Club, and the Under Par Club? <\/strong>The short answer is the account and incentives.<\/p>

1. Fund\/Account: <\/strong><\/p>

HuddleUp! – CAA Football Account, Head Coach Football<\/p>

Coaches Committee – CAA Baseball Account, Head Coach Baseball<\/p>

Fast Break Club – CAA Women’s Basketball Account, Head Coach Women’s Basketball<\/p>

2. Incentives:<\/strong> SWAG, Gear, Merchandise, Experiences, and Access<\/p>

HuddleUp!, Coaches Committee, and other Sport Specific Booster Clubs each have their own swag, gear, experiences and exclusive access separate and aside from each other.\u00a0<\/p>

Can I join multiple Sport Specific Booster Clubs for the year? <\/strong>Yes, each sport specific booster club drive begins just before the start of the sport season.<\/p>

Can I support all Colonel sports in one membership? <\/strong>Yes, you can support all 17 sports and 450 student athletes by joining the CAA.<\/p>

Why should I join the CAA if I join HuddleUP! or Coaches Committee, etc? <\/strong>Joining the CAA puts membership dollars in the Excellence Fund supporting all 17 Colonel sports<\/strong> helping the Athletic Department meets the needs of each sport.\u00a0<\/p>

Can I join multiple Sport Specific Booster Clubs at the same time in one membership?<\/strong><\/p>

No, you can not join all booster clubs in one membership.\u00a0<\/p>

Individual booster membership dollars go to separate designated sport accounts and each membership has its own unique incentives including swag, events, and access.<\/p>

Membership to Sport Specific Booster Clubs are seasonal.\u00a0<\/p>

If I join a sport specific Booster Club like Huddle Up! or the Coaches Committee am I considered part of the CAA?<\/strong> YES, you are part of the CAA when you join any of our Sport Specific Booster Club at any level because ALL sport specific clubs fall under the umbrella of the CAA, but your dollars will only support the sport specific sport you join.<\/p>

You WILL enjoy all the incentives of a REDSHIRT CAA member in addition to the sport specific membership incentives including swag and access designated by the sport specific booster club you join.<\/p>

Joining a sport specific booster club provides a multitude of benefits separate and aside from donating to the CAA Excellence Fund.<\/p>

What Sport Specific Booster Clubs does the CAA Offer? <\/strong>The\u00a0Colonel Athletic Association Booster Clubs include: Huddle Up!<\/strong> (football), Coaches Committee<\/strong> (baseball), Diamond Club<\/strong> (softball), Record Setters Club<\/strong> (Cross Country\/Track& Field, Under Par Club<\/strong> (Golf), Goal Club<\/strong> (Soccer), and Fast Break Club<\/strong> (Women’s Basketball)<\/p>

Where do my membership dollars go? <\/strong>Membership dollars go to individual CAA Sport Specific accounts designated.<\/p>

Is my CAA membership or Sport Specific Booster Membership dollars tax deductible? <\/strong>The Colonel Athletic Association operates under the umbrella of the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Foundation. The ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Tax ID# 72-6031425.\u00a0 Your contribution is tax-deductible\u00a0minus<\/em>\u00a0the value of the\u00a0goods<\/em>\u00a0or\u00a0services<\/em> received.<\/p>

When are Sport Specific CAA Memberships recognized? <\/strong>Sport Specific Memberships are recognized at the start of each sport season.<\/p>

Ex.) Huddle Up! Memberships begin just before the football season each year due to the season incentives of special exclusive access to events and swag.<\/p>

Coaches Committee membership begins just before the baseball season each year due to the seasonal incentives of special exclusive access to coaches committee area and swag.\u00a0<\/p>

What is the difference between a membership and a donation?<\/strong> A membership includes swag, access to exclusive events, areas, and experiences. A membership is tax deductible minus the goods received for the contribution.
