GENERAL INFORMATION<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The Office of Admissions is responsible for conducting the University’s student recruitment and admission program. Applications for admission are available only online at www.nicholls.edu\/apply<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Admission requirements for graduate programs appear in the section on GRADUATE STUDIES in this Catalog<\/em>.\u00a0No student shall be denied admission to the university because of race, color, age, sex, creed, disability, or national origin.<\/p>\n

Falsification of academic records, academic forgery, altering official academic documents, misusing university documents, or withholding information relating to admission, transfer credits, academic status or records may be cause for a student’s dismissal.<\/p>\n

A non-refundable application fee of $20 will be assessed each person applying for admission or readmission to ÐÓ°É´«Ã½. An additional non-refundable late application fee of $30 will be assessed each person applying for admission or readmission to ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ after July 25th<\/sup> for fall semesters, December 15th<\/sup> for\u00a0 spring semesters, and May 10th<\/sup> for summer semesters upon submission of applications. Check payments should be made payable to \u201cÐÓ°É´«Ã½\u201d. International applicants must submit applications by April 15th<\/sup> for fall semesters and October 15th<\/sup> for spring semesters. Applications submitted after these deadlines will be moved to the following semester.<\/p>\n

American College Testing Program<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The ACT is administered at ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ and other designated testing centers five times yearly. Applicants may pick up a registration packet in the Testing Center or Admissions Office or may write to ACT Registration Unit, P.O. Box 414, Iowa City, IA 52243. Students may also register or request ACT scores via the Internet at www.act.org<\/span><\/a>. The University does not accept test applications nor can it forward applications to the ACT Registration Unit. The Scholastic Aptitude Test [SAT] is acceptable. An ACT\/SAT Concordance will be used to determine equivalent scores. Specific questions about individual scores should be directed to an academic advisor or the Testing Center.<\/p>\n

Immunization Requirement<\/strong><\/h4>\n

ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ requires all students to provide proof of the following vaccines or completed exemption form in accordance with Louisiana Revised Statute 17.170 <\/strong>and under current state law, institutions of higher learning must require proof of immunization for enrollment and are required to maintain a record of immunizations for students:<\/p>\n
