Helps students adjust to the university, provides a support system and promotes understanding of the \u00a0requirements of the major. Career exploration\/assessment pertinent to the major.\u00a0\u00a0Satisfies university freshman seminar requirement. \u00a0(37.0199)<\/p>\n<p><strong>UNIV 150.\u00a0Advanced Support for College Success<\/strong>.\u00a01-0-3.\u00a0Course offering support for short-term and long-term goal setting and academic planning with proactive support and one-on-one consultations with faculty and academic coaches. Areas of focus include evaluation of personal learning strategies, time management habits, study techniques, and reflection on professional and personal goals.\u00a0Engagement with university resources and services will be required as well as academic coaching meetings.
