ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ honors various fee-exemption programs which have been approved by the Louisiana Legislature or the University of Louisiana System.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>

All fee exemption programs are available only for courses and programs for which the basic, mandatory tuition and fee rates are charged.\u00a0 \u00a0Programs with special fee structures such as ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Online, EMBA, etc.\u00a0 do not qualify for any of the fee exemption programs.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>

Students may contact the Fee Collection Center at (985) 448-4058 for more information regarding these exemptions and to see if they qualify.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

Student Government Association<\/strong> – Provides the equivalent of four tuition waivers to the top elected and appointed SGA officers at the universities and colleges governed by the Board of Supervisors for the University of Louisiana System.<\/p>

Faculty, Staff and Dependents Tuition Reduction<\/strong> provides for a fee reduction for faculty and staff members as well as for the undergraduate dependents of faculty and staff members who qualify for the reduction.\u00a0<\/p>

TuitionReduction-Form-REVISED<\/strong><\/a><\/p>

Senior Citizen<\/strong> – provides a tuition and registration fee waiver (not all fees are waived) for any person over the age of sixty years as described in the University of Louisiana System Board Rules, Chapter IV; the exemption is limited to three credit hours per semester.<\/p>

Council for the Development of French in Louisiana (CODOFIL) –<\/strong> Provides for a fee exemption for those students who qualify under the CODOFIL program in Louisiana.<\/p>

Veterans Affairs – (See Academic Standards Policy below) – <\/em><\/strong>Provides educational assistance in state-supported colleges and universities for children of certain deceased war veterans.<\/p>

Disabled Firefighters\u00a0– (See Academic Standards Policy below) – <\/em><\/strong>Provides scholarships and financial assistance for children of firefighters injured in the course and scope of their employment resulting in their inability to be employed and to provide for related matters.<\/p>

Disabled Police Officers – (See Academic Standards Policy below) – <\/em><\/strong>Provides scholarships and financial assistance for children of police officers or deputy sheriffs who were either killed or permanently disabled after January 1, 1973, in the course and scope of the performance of their duties.<\/p>

National Guard – (See Academic\u00a0 Standards Policy below) – <\/em><\/strong>Louisiana Revised Statute 29:36.1 provides a tuition exemption to all members of the Louisiana Army National Guard and Air National Guard who meet all of the following criteria:<\/p>
