Students selected to the court must exhibit qualities such as leadership, good character, a respect for diversity, loyalty to ÐÓ°É´«Ã½, true Colonel Pride and effective communication skills. The two students elected as 2025 Homecoming Royalty are expected to be positive representatives of ÐÓ°É´«Ã½. The process of identifying the 14 court members will be overseen and implemented through the office of the Dean of Students.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>The Homecoming Court will be announced on Thursday, September 25, 2025.<\/strong><\/p><p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>The students will vote for one King and one Queen.<\/strong><\/p><p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Voting will take place online from 8:00 AM on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 &#8211; noon on Thursday, October 23, 2025.<\/strong><\/p><p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>The Homecoming King and Queen will be announced at halftime during the Homecoming football game on Saturday, November 1, 2025.<\/strong><\/p><h2>\u00a0<\/h2><h2><b>Week Event Registration Information<\/b><\/h2><p>If a campus department would like to host an event and have it listed as a homecoming week event, all appropriate event request forms must be submitted to the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nicholls.edu\/events\/\">Reservations Office<\/a>,<\/strong> which is located in the Student Union near the Post Office.\u00a0 Student organizations should use the event registration form in <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ngage by Suitable<\/span><\/i>.\u00a0 Homecoming Week is organized by the Homecoming Committee and facilitated by Alumni Bags that are permitted include:<\/p><ul><li>Bags that are clear plastic and do not exceed 12&#8243; x 6&#8243; x 12&#8243;. This could include: Small totes, small backpacks, fanny packs<\/li><li>One-gallon, clear, resealable plastic storage bags<\/li><li>Small clutch bags or purses do not have to be clear but cannot exceed 4.5&#8243; x 6.5&#8243;<\/li><li>Diaper bags, camera or binocular cases, seat cushions, seatbacks<\/li><\/ul><p><em>Each person is allowed one large clear bag and one small clutch.<\/em><br \/>\u00a0<br \/><strong>The following bags that are not clear and do not meet size requirements are prohibited. Examples include:<\/strong><br \/><br \/>&#8211; Purses, backpacks, fanny packs, reusable grocery totes, printed pattern plastic bags, cinch bags, duffle bags, large totes<em><br \/>*Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at designated areas. There is no check-in location for prohibited bags.<\/em><br \/>\u00a0<br \/><strong>NONPERMISSIBLE ITEMS<\/strong><br \/>It is the responsibility of the host institution to enforce NCAA policies in this area.
