Obtain Admission and Immigration Documents<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4b64322 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4b64322\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Receive an&nbsp;<strong>admission letter<\/strong>&nbsp;and<strong>&nbsp;I-20<\/strong>&nbsp;(for F-1 students) or&nbsp;<strong>DS-2019<\/strong>&nbsp;(for J-1 students) from the University.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Make sure that all of the information listed on your I-20 or DS-2019 (including major and funding) is accurate before you proceed to Step 2. Pay the SEVIS Fee<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cb608da elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"cb608da\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The<\/span>\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/fmjfee.com\/i901fee\/index.html?content=status\/checkStatus\">I-901 SEVIS Fee<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0<span style=\"color: #000000;\">is required for all students and scholars (F-1 and J-1).\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This fee, paid to the Department of Homeland Security, will be necessary to secure your visa appointment.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-67a9bd4 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"67a9bd4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">3. Complete Form DS-160, and Pay the Visa Application Fee (non-refundable)<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-dd7078c elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"dd7078c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Complete the<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ceac.state.gov\/genniv\/\">\u00a0online visa application<\/a><\/strong> (FORM DS-160), and upload a photo that meets the requirements.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a8d534e elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"a8d534e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">4. Schedule an Interview with the U.S. Embassy in your Home Country<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3477cf4 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3477cf4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Make sure to allow enough time to apply for visa. We recommend applying as soon as you pay your I-901 fee to ensure that you have enough time to obtain your visa and enroll for your semester of admission. Visa applications can take up to 3 months. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">You can check visa wait times at:<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/travel.state.gov\/content\/travel\/en\/us-visas\/study\/student-visa.html\">\u00a0 https:\/\/travel.state.gov\/content\/travel\/en\/us-visas\/study\/student-visa.html<\/a><\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bce18e8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"bce18e8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">5. Gather Required Documents to bring to your Visa Interview<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-14dd0e2 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"14dd0e2\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A\u00a0<strong>valid passport<\/strong>\u00a0(must be valid within 6 months of entry date to U.S.)<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A\u00a0<strong>valid printed I-20<\/strong>\u00a0(for F-1 students)\u00a0<strong>or DS-2019<\/strong>\u00a0(for J-1 students), issued for study at ÐÓ°É´«Ã½.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Application fee\u00a0<strong>payment receipt<\/strong><\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Copy of Admission letter<\/strong>\u00a0from ÐÓ°É´«Ã½.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Photo (only if photo cannot be uploaded electronically)<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Financial information showing proof of necessary funds<\/strong>\u00a0to cover ALL expenses while in the U.S.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Since you are applying for a\u00a0<em>non-immigrant<\/em>\u00a0visa, be prepared to explain your intent to depart the\u00a0U.S. upon your completion of course of study.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-892f177 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"892f177\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">6.
