Students can earn a Bachelor of Arts in English<\/a> via ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Online<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The English program offered through ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Online currently offers three areas of concentration:\u00a0 Creative Writing,<\/em><\/strong> Literary Studies,<\/strong> <\/em>and \/ or Professional Writing.<\/strong><\/em> Students will begin this program by registering for two gateway courses, English 220 and 266, which will provide a foundation for their studies.\u00a0 English 220 is designed to discuss the specific areas of concentration and employment opportunities for each so that students can make an informed decision prior to selecting an area of concentration.\u00a0 English 266 allows students to refine writing skills needed to successfully complete the program so that they can enter the program with confidence.\u00a0 Students will also find a wide variety of electives to choose from before entering their area of concentration, such as American, British, and \/ or World Literature and the literary genres of fiction, poetry, non-fiction, and even film.\u00a0 In keeping with national trends in the study of literary works, students will encounter a number of timely and attractive themes that address global issues.\u00a0 Students complete the course by registering for the capstone, English 405, where they can reflect on what they learned as an English major, further discuss career options, and complete materials necessary to enter the next phase of\u00a0 their career, whether the workplace or an advanced degree.\u00a0 We welcome you to the\u00a0 program at ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ and look forward to working with you.<\/p>\n
