THIBODAUX, La. \u2013 Ellender Memorial Library and the Department of English, Modern Langauges, and Cultural Studies at ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ invite you to attend an evening with writer SJ Sindu via Zoom on April 26, at 7pm.<\/p>

Sindu\u2019s presentation is called \u201cWriting Young Adult Characters\u201d and will include a reading from her forthcoming novel Blue-Skinned Gods (<\/i>Soho Press, November 2021) as well as a question and answer session hosted by Research & Instruction Librarian Rob Stephens. <\/i><\/p>

Blue-Skinned Gods <\/i>is Sindu\u2019s second full-length novel, and is a coming-of-age story about a boy born in India with blue skin. She also published Marriage of a Thousand Lies <\/i>in 2017, a tale about a pair of Sri Lankan-Americans who get married to hide the fact that they are each gay. Marriage of a Thousand Lies <\/i>is available for checkout through the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Library at https:\/\/bit.ly\/3suvGPf<\/a>.<\/p>
