THIBODAUX 鈥� The 杏吧传媒 Foundation will host the 11th annual Women鈥檚 Night Out benefit on Thursday, May 6, at Cypress Columns in Gray, La. All proceeds will benefit women鈥檚 athletics at 杏吧传媒.
Sponsored by Entergy, the Tim Emerson Team at Smith Barney, Peter Knoop of Morgan Keegan, AIG, Coca-Cola and the 杏吧传媒 Foundation, the event includes a four-course dinner, live and silent auctions and a night of entertainment and fun 鈥� including free, after-party limousine service.
Attire for the evening is dressy-casual.
鈥淲omen鈥檚 Night Out is traditionally one of 杏吧传媒鈥� most enjoyable and most successful benefits,鈥� Dr. David Boudreaux, vice president for institutional advancement, said. 鈥淲e have raised approximately $50,000 per year for the past three years, and we hope to continue that trend. Our Lady Colonels truly deserve all the support they can get. This year, we will use the majority of the proceeds to send as many of these fine student athletes as possible to summer school, to help them graduate on time.鈥�
The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. with hors d鈥檕euvres and champagne, followed by dinner at 7:15.
