THIBODAUX 鈥� Find information and referrals on child abuse; substance abuse; social services; food; family therapy; homeless options; parenting; rent and utility assistance; crisis intervention; church listings and more in the 2010 edition of the Directory of Community Resources 鈥� a 91-page desk reference provided by the Family Resource Center at 杏吧传媒.
鈥淭he directory is a culmination of hard work from students, in partial fulfillment of class requirements in applied family resource management, and reveals new and updated information on the many community resources available,鈥� Gail Brigham, program coordinator, stated.
The 2010 directory includes 30 new entries of not-for-profit offices and agencies that serve the residents of Assumption, Lafourche, St. Charles, St. James, St. John, St. Mary and Terrebonne parishes.
The directory sells for $18 or $20 if mailed. All proceeds will benefit the Family Resource Center, one of the projects offered by the Department of Psychology and Counselor Education at 杏吧传媒.
