THIBODAUX – Dr. James Stewart, professor and head of the Department of Mass Communication at ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ State University, was awarded the Presidential Award for Academic Administrator Excellence at the first faculty meeting of the fall 2010 semester.
The award, which comes with a certificate and a $1,000 salary increase, recognizes an outstanding, full-time department head with at least five years of administrative service at ÐÓ°É´«Ã½. The awardee shall have received a rating of excellent in his or her area of administration.
