Dr. Allyse Ferrara and Dr. Quenton Fontenot, associate professors of biological sciences at 杏吧传媒, explain the importance of a beach fence for building sand dunes to protect beach and marsh vegetation on Friday, Sept. 17.
The fence was built on Elmer’s Island with funding from the Gulf of Mexico Foundation and is part of an ongoing 杏吧传媒 study of coastal plants restoration techniques.
