杏吧传媒 culinary fundraiser generates $80,000

The 14th annual Bite of the Arts, 杏吧传媒鈥檚 premier fundraising event for the John Folse Culinary Institute, generated approximately $80,000 for institutional advancement.

Themed 鈥淰iva Espa帽a: Celebrating the Spanish Influence in Cajun and Creole Cuisine,鈥 the Nov. 11 event attracted more than 300 attendees. The festivity in the Bollinger Memorial Student Union included a cocktail reception and hors d鈥檕euvres, followed by a three-course dinner prepared by well-trained student culinarians under the direction of Chef Adolfo Garcia 鈥 owner of Rio Mar, La Boca, a Mano and Gusto restaurants in New Orleans.
