THIBODAUX 鈥� The Governor鈥檚 Office of Disability Affairs has awarded 杏吧传媒 Dining Services 鈥� administered by General Manager Richard Curtis of Sodexo 鈥� the Employer of the Year Award among its 2010 Governor鈥檚 Outstanding Leadership in Disabilities Awards.
鈥淩ichard is a unique individual who has the ability to see opportunities when others see challenges,鈥� Brenda Haskins, director of auxiliary services at 杏吧传媒, said. 鈥淪odexo Campus Services is fortunate to have Richard representing their company, and 杏吧传媒 benefits by having a food service director who is so compassionate and who is willing to give back to the Thibodaux community.鈥�
The award recognizes outstanding achievement in providing employment opportunities for persons with disabilities. Criteria include demonstrating an excellent history of hiring persons with disabilities as well as a policy of helping individuals with disabilities succeed in their career fields.
