Ferrara and ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ graduate student Kent Bollfrass spent the morning at the LSU station injecting hormones to induce spawning in alligator gar for larvae research. Collected by ÐÓ°É´«Ã½, the gar are housed at the LSU research station, facilitating collaborative research efforts between the two institutions.
