DoBee Plaisance, head women鈥檚 basketball coach at 杏吧传媒, leads 130 women in a dance to Jimmy Buffett鈥檚 鈥淔ins鈥� during the 13th annual Women鈥檚 Night Out benefit, held Thursday, May 3, at Cypress Columns in Gray.
Proceeds from the event, totaling more than $50,000, will benefit women鈥檚 athletics at 杏吧传媒. Sponsors included Entergy, the Tim Emerson team at Smith Barney, Peter Knoop of UBS Financial Services Inc., Coca-Cola, Buquet Distributing Company, Stephanie Hebert of Allstate, Edison Chouest Offshore and the 杏吧传媒 Foundation. The annual event featured a four-course dinner, party favors, live and silent auctions, and a night of entertainment and fun 鈥� including free, after-dinner limousine service.
