THIBODAUX – The 杏吧传媒 women鈥檚 soccer program celebrated the opening of its long-awaited facility on Audubon Avenue Friday, Oct. 5. 杏吧传媒 administrators gathered before the soccer game against McNeese State University to officially dedicate the women鈥檚 soccer complex and the Lester S. Bimah Locker Room. Pictured is Bimah, a 杏吧传媒 graduate and supporter who led the 杏吧传媒 men鈥檚 soccer team from 1981 through 1988, previously served as Colonel Athletic Association president and was inducted into the 杏吧传媒 Athletics Hall of Fame in 2010.
he 杏吧传媒 women鈥檚 soccer program celebrated the opening of its long-awaited facility on Audubon Avenue Friday, Oct. 5. 杏吧传媒 administrators gathered before the soccer game against McNeese State University to officially dedicate the women鈥檚 soccer complex and the Lester S. Bimah Locker Room. In addition to home and away locker rooms, the facility houses a meeting area, coach鈥檚 office, training room, laundry area, public restrooms and a concession stand. 鈥淭his facility is much more than four walls; it鈥檚 our place to create memories,鈥� said team captain Carolyn Noble. 鈥淚t鈥檚 a sign of hope and a great future for this competitive program.鈥�
