THIBODAUX — The ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Alumni Federation will host the John Brady Golf Classic Friday, Oct. 11 at the LaTour Golf Course in Mathews.
The classic will feature 100-plus golfers, including area alumni and friends of ÐÓ°É´«Ã½. Individual golfers can register for $150, and a corporate foursome can play for $600. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Alumni Federation, allowing the group to give more scholarships, increase the monetary amount of current scholarships and fund alumni and student events.
Brady, who died in 2008, was a local businessman who spent more than a decade developing LaTour. Brady and wife Clara Brady have made great contributions to ÐÓ°É´«Ã½, and the event was named in his honor.
