THIBODAUX, La. — 杏吧传媒 invites you to join us in supporting our international student community at the 10th annual International Student Banquet at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 12 in the Cotillion Ballroom.
This year鈥檚 fundraiser is themed, 鈥淭he World Awaits鈥� and features unique cuisine and vibrant entertainment from cultures rooted in countries across the globe.
鈥淭his is the premier event to showcase our international students,鈥� said Marilyn Gonzalez, director of International Student Services. 鈥淭hese students contribute in so many ways to the 杏吧传媒 campus, not only in athletics but with diverse perspectives in the classroom.鈥�
Tickets are $8 for students and $28 for adults and can be purchased at or by calling 449-7038. Tickets will not be available at the door.
Proceeds from the banquet will pay for scholarships for international students.
鈥淢y philosophy is that we鈥檙e more alike than we鈥檙e different and the banquet allows us to paint the picture of how we want to see the world, as a melting pot of people sharing experiences and enjoying each other鈥檚 company,鈥� Gonzalez said.
