
THIBODAUX, La. — 杏吧传媒 announced today that Dr. Eugene Dial has been tapped to lead the Higher Education Leadership Master鈥檚 Program, pending approval by the University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors.
Dr. Dial joined 杏吧传媒 in 1986 and brings nearly four decades of experience in higher education to the position, including the last 17 years as vice president of Student Affairs.
鈥淚 have spent my entire professional career helping students achieve their academic and career goals. It has been and will always be about student success,鈥 Dr. Dial said. 鈥淚鈥檓 excited to about the potential for the Higher Education Program. I鈥檝e served as the major professor for over 100 students who have completed the program. In this new role, I believe I鈥檒l be able to take the program to new heights.鈥
In addition to his position as executive director of the Higher Education Leadership Master鈥檚 Program, Dr. Dial will also assist on special projects.
Higher education administration positions are expected to grow at a rate faster than the average job over the next five years, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Dr. Dial will begin his new position on Jan. 9.
