THIBODAUX, La. — Grambling State University and 杏吧传媒 are partnering to create the next generation of Louisiana business leaders.
The two sister institutions in the University of Louisiana System signed a memorandum of understanding creating a pathway for graduates of the Grambling College of Business to enter the 杏吧传媒 Master of Business Administration program.
杏吧传媒 and Grambling share elite status among business colleges as they are AACSB-accredited, a distinction held by less than 5 percent of business schools worldwide.
鈥淚t was a pleasure working with (College of Business Dean) Dr. Donald White to fashion an agreement that not only benefits business graduates from Grambling but also serves to further enrich diversity within our MBA population here at 杏吧传媒,鈥 said Ray Peters, director of the MBA program at 杏吧传媒.
As part of the agreement, 杏吧传媒 has set aside two grad assistant positions for Grambling graduates who enroll in the program. Students at Grambling State can enroll and begin coursework at 杏吧传媒 State as soon as the Spring of 2020.
鈥淭his partnership opens another door for students to build on their undergraduate experience and take advantage of the best of Louisiana’s educational opportunities,鈥 said Rick Gallot, President of Grambling State University.
The University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors approved the MOU at their Aug. 27 meeting. In 2017, 杏吧传媒 restructured the MBA program which will allow students to earn their MBA in 18 months. For more information, call 449-7016 or visit nicholls.edu/mba.
