ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ offers two programs for students on the autism spectrum.
The Bridge to Independence program offers a two-year certificate program that helps students with an Intellectual Disability gain employability and independent living skills. It was the first program of its kind in Louisiana certified by the United States Department of Education.
For students identified with autism or autism spectrum disorder, ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ also offers a two or four-year Bridge to Independence option. The degree program helps students with services including daily tutoring, organizational skills, social skill seminars, regular monitoring of performance, access to academic coaches and peer mentors and liaison with faculty.
