Hulbert, ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ president, and Travis Lavigne, chancellor of Fletcher.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The collaborative plan addresses initiatives proposed by Senate Bill No. 285, filed by Sen. Ben Wayne Nevers, which calls for a comprehensive system of articulation and transfer of credit between and among public and post-secondary educational institutions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key points of the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½\/Fletcher collaborative plan:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Establishes a course-transfer evaluation system that provides fee benefits and course-transfer security for students;<\/li>\n<li>Allows Fletcher students to declare their intent to pursue degrees at ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ through an articulation agreement;<\/li>\n<li>Establishes pre-admission to ÐÓ°É´«Ã½;<\/li>\n<li>Eases transition from a two-year to a four-year institution;<\/li>\n<li>Allows Fletcher students an opportunity to enroll in courses\/programs at ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ that are not available at Fletcher;<\/li>\n<li>Provides students access to academic advisors on both campuses; and<\/li>\n<li>Proposes the development of a transfer center\/office on both campuses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cThe partnership between ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ and Fletcher serves a four-parish region and is something for which we are quite proud,\u201d Dr. Stephen T.
