THIBODAUX \u2013 The ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Foundation will host the 11th annual Women\u2019s Night Out benefit on Thursday, May 6, at Cypress Columns in Gray, La. All proceeds will benefit women\u2019s athletics at ÐÓ°É´«Ã½.<\/p>\n
Sponsored by Entergy, the Tim Emerson Team at Smith Barney, Peter Knoop of Morgan Keegan, AIG, Coca-Cola and the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Foundation, the event includes a four-course dinner, live and silent auctions and a night of entertainment and fun \u2013 including free, after-party limousine service.<\/p>\n
Attire for the evening is dressy-casual.<\/p>\n
\u201cWomen\u2019s Night Out is traditionally one of ÐÓ°É´«Ã½\u2019 most enjoyable and most successful benefits,\u201d Dr. David Boudreaux, vice president for institutional advancement, said. \u201cWe have raised approximately $50,000 per year for the past three years, and we hope to continue that trend. Our Lady Colonels truly deserve all the support they can get. This year, we will use the majority of the proceeds to send as many of these fine student athletes as possible to summer school, to help them graduate on time.\u201d<\/p>\n
The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. with hors d\u2019oeuvres and champagne, followed by dinner at 7:15.<\/p>\n
