{"id":1500,"date":"2010-06-25T09:00:48","date_gmt":"2010-06-25T14:00:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nicholls.edu\/news\/?p=1500"},"modified":"2010-06-25T09:00:48","modified_gmt":"2010-06-25T14:00:48","slug":"nicholls-honored-by-united-way","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nicholls.edu\/news\/2010\/06\/25\/nicholls-honored-by-united-way\/","title":{"rendered":"ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ honored by United Way"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>THIBODAUX \u2013 United Way for South Louisiana presented ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ with the organization\u2019s Gold Award this month for generating the largest gift increase of any member group over the previous year.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The 2010 ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ campaign raised $15,720 among faculty and staff for community service efforts in south Louisiana \u2013 approximately $5,000, or 54 percent, more than the 2009 total \u2013 and the most for any year since the annual campaign began.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a great success, and we are very proud,\u201d Dr. Stephen T.
