\nSunday, Nov. 11, 4 p.m., St. John\u2019s Episcopal Church, 718 Jackson St., Thibodaux<\/p>\n
A recital at historic St. John\u2019s Episcopal Church will feature three ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ musicians: pianist Dr. Carol Britt, music department head; violinist Gilson Filho, a music sophomore from Recife, Brazil; and horn player Paula Santos, a music sophomore from Salvador, Brazil. The trio will perform works by Bach, Schumann and Brahms.<\/p>\n
\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Camerata concert
\nTuesday, Nov. 13, 7:30 p.m., St. Joseph\u2019s Co-Cathedral, 721 Canal Blvd., Thibodaux<\/p>\n
The ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Camerata, a small chamber orchestra, will feature students on violin, viola, cello, bass and harpsichord. The group was formed in 2010 under the direction of violinist James Alexander, faculty head of the string program.<\/p>\n

\nTuesday, Nov. 27, 7:30 p.m., Mary M. Danos Theater, Talbot Hall, ÐÓ°É´«Ã½<\/p>\n
Students in the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ string program will perform works for violin, viola and cello.<\/p>\n
\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Candlelight Christmas concert by the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Concert Choir
\nTuesday, Dec. 4, 7:30 p.m., Mary M. Danos Theater, Talbot Hall, ÐÓ°É´«Ã½<\/p>\n
The ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Concert Choir will present its annual Candlelight Christmas Concert with the theme \u201cCarols of the Night.\u201d Christmas songs and carols will be linked together by poetry and scripture to tell the traditional Christmas story. The choir\u2019s repertoire will include well-known Christmas songs such as \u201cSilent Night, \u201cO Holy Night,\u201d \u201cJoy to the World,\u201d \u201cCoventry Carol,\u201d \u201cLo! How a Rose e\u2019er Blooming,\u201d \u201cWexford Carol\u201d and several Christmas compositions by international composers. Lighting will change from selection to selection to enhance the concert experience. Dr. Kenneth S. Klaus, professor of music and director of choral activities, will conduct the concert with Michelle Z. Parro, staff accompanist, performing one of ÐÓ°É´«Ã½\u2019 Steinway grand pianos.<\/p>\n
