They include Kandace Alexander, general studies major from Houma; Denise Badgerow, finance major from Houma; Yvette Barbier, culinary arts major from Baton Rouge; Amanda Deadmond, biology (pre-medicine\/pre-dentistry) major from Slidell; and Ryan Smith, history major from Larose. Barbier and Deadmond also received the President\u2019s Medal of Honor, which recognizes a perfect 4.0 grade point average.<\/p>\n<p>During the morning\u2019s commencement exercises, ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ awarded an honorary Doctor of Commerce to Michael Voisin, owner and CEO of Motivatit Seafoods. U.S. District Court Judge Jane Triche Milazzo, a 1977 ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ alumna, delivered the keynote address at both ceremonies.<\/p>\n<p>A complete list of graduates is \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nicholls.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/66\/2012\/12\/2012-ÐÓ°É´«Ã½-Graduation-Candidates-Summer-and-Fall-2012.xlsx\">downloadable here (xlsx)<\/a>. Academic honors are noted.
