Danos Theater in Talbot Hall on the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ campus.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Crucible\u201d tells the story of the Salem witch trials, exploring themes of mass hysteria and the dangers of scapegoating. The play was written and first produced in 1953 as an allegory for the McCarthy era, when U.S. Sen.
