THIBODAUX \u2014 ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ and Delgado Community College will partner to make it easier for business students to transfer seamlessly between both schools. The transfer program will allow students who have completed an associate degree in business administration at Delgado to easily transfer a majority of their courses to ÐÓ°É´«Ã½. They can then go on to earn their bachelor\u2019s in business through ÐÓ°É´«Ã½\u2019 traditional on-campus College of Business Administration or remotely through ÐÓ°É´«Ã½\u2019 online degree program, ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Online.<\/p>\n

“This agreement provides these Delgado students with an easy transition from their two-year degree program to a four-year program at an Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accredited business school,” said Dr. Shawn Mauldin, dean of the College of Business Administration at ÐÓ°É´«Ã½.<\/p>\n

ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ President Bruce Murphy and Delgado Chancellor Joan Davis signed a document establishing the transfer articulation agreement on Monday, Aug. 25 in New Orleans.<\/p>\n

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree at ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ requires the completion of 120 hours of semester credits. Delgado students who have earned their associate of business administration will be granted up to 57 hours of credit toward the bachelor\u2019s in business administration at ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ provided all transfer admission requirements established by the College of Business Administration and the university have been met.<\/p>\n

In December, Delgado and ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ signed a memorandum of understanding making it easier for culinary students to cross-enroll the institutions, as well as to seamlessly transfer between both schools.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
