{"id":5976,"date":"2016-10-17T11:20:03","date_gmt":"2016-10-17T16:20:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nicholls.edu\/news\/?p=5976"},"modified":"2016-10-17T11:20:03","modified_gmt":"2016-10-17T16:20:03","slug":"nicholls-ranked-the-safest-school-in-ul-system","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nicholls.edu\/news\/2016\/10\/17\/nicholls-ranked-the-safest-school-in-ul-system\/","title":{"rendered":"ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ ranked the safest school in UL System"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\">THIBODAUX, La. &#8212; ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ is the safest school in the University of Louisiana System and third safest university in the state, according to BackgroundChecks.org.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The website ranked 20 Louisiana public and private colleges based on campus safety in a Sept. 26 report.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ ranked just behind Our Lady of Holy Cross College in New Orleans and LSU Shreveport.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">BackgroundChecks.org ranked accredited public and private not-for-profit four-year institutions using campus crime rates per 1,000 residents, graduation rates and student retention rates from the U.S. Department of Education.
