Titled \u201cA Joyful Christmas!,\u201d the concert will be held at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec 6, in the newly renovated Mary and Al Danos Theater in Talbot Hall.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The concert is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The choir will tell the traditional Christmas story through familiar and fresh arrangements of classics like \u201cO Come, O Come, Emmanuel,\u201d \u201cWe Three Kings,\u201d \u201cJoy to the World,\u201d \u201cO Come, All Ye Faithful,\u201d \u201cHark! The Herald Angels Sing,\u201d \u201cAway in a Manger\u201d and more.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Also on the program are songs and carols arranged and performed by James Rodrigue, a ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ vocal education major; Masson LeMieux, guitar professor; Emma Prejean, instrumental music education major; Jo\u00e3o F. Fraga, violin major; and music fraternities, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia and Sigma Alpha Iota.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The following Friday, Dec 9, the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Chamber Singers will host their Christmas Dinner Series.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">A ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ tradition since 1985, the event will begin at 7 p.m. in the Cotillion Ballroom located in the Bollinger Memorial Student Union, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">This year\u2019s theme, \u201cHere Comes Santa Claus,\u201d plays at the nostalgia of waking up on Christmas morning as kids. The Chamber Singers have selected some of their favorite songs to perform, ranging from Fred Waring\u2019s \u201c\u2018Twas the Night Before Christmas\u201d to Louis Armstrong\u2019s \u201cZat You, Santa Claus.\u201d The performances will also include more Christmas jazz and arrangements made famous in the movies \u201cThe Polar Express\u201d and \u201cHome Alone 2.\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">A multi-course meal will also be provided and Santa will stop by to visit with kids.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Tickets are $40 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under.
