{"id":6064,"date":"2017-03-20T14:02:41","date_gmt":"2017-03-20T19:02:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nicholls.edu\/news\/?p=6064"},"modified":"2017-03-20T14:02:41","modified_gmt":"2017-03-20T19:02:41","slug":"nicholls-alters-mba-curriculum-to-become-more-accessible-to-students","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nicholls.edu\/news\/2017\/03\/20\/nicholls-alters-mba-curriculum-to-become-more-accessible-to-students\/","title":{"rendered":"ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ alters MBA curriculum to become more accessible to students"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nicholls.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/66\/2017\/03\/MBA-graphic.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-6065\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nicholls.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/66\/2017\/03\/MBA-graphic-540x540.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"532\" height=\"532\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">THIBODAUX, La. &#8212; The ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ College of Business Administration has adjusted its Master of Business Administration curriculum to remove barriers that have traditionally discouraged prospective students from applying.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Beginning in the fall, prerequisite courses in accounting, economics, statistics, management, marketing and finance are being folded into existing curriculum, cutting down the amount of time required to complete the program for non-business graduates.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">That decision was made to help two types of prospective students: those without a business degree and those who earned their degree years ago and are thinking about returning to school.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cOver the years we\u2019ve received numerous inquiries from interested, prospective students who don\u2019t have a business background.
