He started out playing a few shows and now George Bell &amp; Friends play multiple times across the state each year.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">While an administrator at Baton Rouge General &#8211; Mid City, Bell would bring his trumpet to the hospital and play for patients to help take their minds off their ailments.
