Tournament organizers originally reached out to the Culinary Institute in 2014. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The tournament will be held from Thursday, April 5 through Sunday, April 8. The 67 students are expected to return home on Monday, April 9. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Chef Jean-Pierre Daigle, culinary instructor, said the tournament provides students with a unique and memorable work experience. The week-long tournament requires students to work long shifts, preparing up to 1,500 meals a day at various tournament venues.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8220;Going to the Masters benefits our students in several ways, first by reinforcing what ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ instructors have taught them, including organizational and mass production skills,&#8221; Daigle said. &#8220;The biggest plus for ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ students is the networking opportunity, as our students get the chance to work with chefs who often hire our students upon graduation.&#8221; <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">During the week of the tournament, students will hold a wide range of jobs \u2014 acting as servers, pantry assistants and other support positions.
