A. Meyer Education Scholarship will go toward a graduating senior from an Assumption Parish high school who intends to enroll in the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½\u2019 College of Education.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cHe would be so excited to know a scholarship exists in his name,\u201d said Sugar Meyer, his wife. \u201cFrom the time he started teaching, he had a great passion for education. He was all about his faith, his family and the kids he taught.\u201d \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lee Meyer (BA \u201872) spent 26 years as an educator in Assumption Parish, including 23 as a teacher and three more with the juvenile detention center. To honor his passion for legacy his family and friends donated to create the scholarship in his name. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cLee devoted his life to education because he knew how important it was.
