I cannot thank our servicemen and women enough for their commitment and the sacrifices they have made for our country.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This year\u2019s guest speaker is Rusten May, the chief privacy officer and counsel for Tulane University, who earned a bronze star and purple heart as a member of a sniper team on a combat tour in Iraq. May, who joined the military following the events on Sept. 11, graduated from ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ with a degree in business administration upon finishing his service and is now a licensed attorney. He represents veterans on a pro bono basis and has provided legal counsel to Peoples Health, the Louisiana Public Service Commission and the Department of Insurance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Thibodaux JROTC will present the colors and the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia will sing the national anthem. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ has earned the \u201cGovernor\u2019s Military and Veteran Friendly Campus\u201d designation and has consistently been named a \u201cMilitary Friendly School\u201d by G.I.
