Chopin International Piano Competition, Shenandoah Concerto Competition, Yamaha Piano Competition, Karl Filtsch International Piano Competition and the Pro Piano International Competition. He was a student of the world-renowned Irish pianist John O\u2019Conor, and has collaborated with the George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra in Bucharest, the Washington Sinfonietta, the Shenandoah Conservatory Symphony Orchestra, the Symphonic Winds and the Pitesti Philharmonic Orchestra.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe music is filled with simplicity and virtuosity, passion and anger, calm and storm, fantasy and nightmare,\u201d said Dr. Richard Jeric, ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ instructor of music. \u201cGuest artists challenge what we believe we know, even music for which we have a great understanding. Guest artists also gain exposure to the excellence of ÐÓ°É´«Ã½, including our all-Steinway program, the stunning Danos Theater, and the skilled and talented students of the department of music.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Dima has performed at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, the Cosmos Club in Washington D.C., the International House in Washington D.C. and New York, the Romanian Cultural Institute in New York, the Klavierhaus in New York, the Preston Bradley Hall in Chicago and the Romanian Athenaeum in Bucharest.
