ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ will now be able to connect with Terrebonne Parish students via satellite classrooms where a professor on campus broadcasts to students in the school district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cRegardless of which high schools students attend in the parish, students will be able to take these classes thanks to video conferencing,\u201d said David Zerangue, director of the Academic Services Center. \u201cThis exposes a ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ education to a larger group of students.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The expansion is thanks to a Chevron donation of $51,000 to the school district to purchase the equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zerangue said while they have not finalized the course offerings, Chevron specified that the courses offered must be STEM courses.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The dual enrollment program currently allows for area high school students to take courses on campus or online.
