THIBODAUX, La. — The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business<\/a> Board of Directors extended accreditation to the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½<\/a> College of Business Administration<\/a> and Department of Accounting<\/a> through 2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n AACSB reviewed the College of Business Administration during Fall 2020 to ensure the college was providing a high-quality education and responding to changes within each facet of the business environment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cOnly the best schools around the world can meet the consistent, demanding requirements of earning AACSB accreditation, which is the highest standard of quality for business schools in the world,\u201d said Dr. Marilyn Macik-Frey<\/a>, dean of the College of Business Administration. \u201cThis means that we are providing rigorous, dynamic and relevant coursework, which prepares our students for the challenging and changing global business environment. And it means businesses in our region can count on ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ to provide graduates who are prepared for today\u2019s challenges and who can grow into the future business leaders in the Bayou Region.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ has held AACSB accreditation since 1983, and the accounting program since 2007. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ College of Business Administration offers degrees in accounting, finance, computer information systems, management, marketing and business administration, along with a master of business administration degree. Students learn from experienced faculty and take part in competitive programs which regularly place at state, regional and national competitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Established in 1916, AACSB is the world\u2019s largest global business education network, connecting educational institutions and businesses to develop exceptional global leaders.
