THIBODAUX, La. \u2013 ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ alumna <\/span>Paige Thomas<\/span><\/a> (BS \u201819) named<\/span> the next Director of<\/span> Alumni Affairs<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n Thomas, a Gonzales native and Raceland resident, graduated in <\/span>Human Resource Management<\/span><\/a> with a minor in <\/span>Mass Communication\/Public Relations<\/span><\/a>. As a student, she was involved in campus life as President of <\/span>ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Society for Human Resource Management<\/span><\/a>, Vice President of Membership for <\/span>Delta Zeta<\/span><\/a> sorority and a member of <\/span>Circle K International<\/span><\/a>. Paige was also co-host of the weekly social media piece “This Week at ÐÓ°É´«Ã½,” and was a part of ÐÓ°É´«Ã½\u2019 orientation team, serving as an ambassador in recruiting students and leading orientations.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n She went on to receive a MBA with a concentration in Human Resource Management from the <\/span>University of Louisiana at Lafayette<\/span><\/a> in 2022. Since leaving ÐÓ°É´«Ã½, Paige has worked for <\/span>Ochsner Health<\/span><\/a>, as a human resources intern, a talent acquisition recruiter and most recently, a senior leadership recruiter, developing and implementing recruitment strategies that supported Ochsner\u2019s business strategies and goals. She planned and executed employee engagement activities and initiatives, while serving as the Bayou Region President for the Young Professionals Association.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cÐÓ°É´«Ã½ has a wonderful Alumni Federation supported by an outstanding Board of Directors and members that bleed red and gray. I am excited to join the team and keep the momentum of Alumni Affairs moving forward. My goal is to increase alumni engagement and to highlight the value and importance of the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Alumni Federation.
