Furnishing the space would not have been possible without this contribution.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mosaicco.com\/Home\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Mosaic<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> also contributed $50,000, covering diversity and inclusion trainings, roundtable cohorts, and a sponsorship for the BRI to be a River Region Chamber of Commerce member, allowing businesses to attend River Chamber events as guests. This contribution could reach 17 businesses, providing a variety of memberships including:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">One year of sponsorship for a Private Office Space membership<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Two Dedicated Desk memberships<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Two Commons Area memberships<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Two Virtual memberships<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Five weekly passes<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Five meeting room vouchers<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/premierfoodgroup.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Premier Food Group<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> gave $7,500 to create the kitchen and break room areas, making members\u2019 work days more productive without having to leave the BRI. Premier Food Group will also be volunteering their time and expertise for multiple trainings at the BRI.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Susanna Lamers, CEO of <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/bioinfox.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">BioInfoExperts<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, contributed $3,300 to sponsor a Dedicated Desk membership for a full year. Applications for all sponsored memberships or vouchers will be published on the BRI <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/bayouregionincubator.org\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">website<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/bayouregionincubator\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">social media<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> pages.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cThe grand opening of this business incubator signifies the beginning of a powerful regional resource, fueled by the unwavering support of our sponsors. Chevron, Mosaic, Premier, and BioInfoExperts have fueled the Bayou Region Incubator to ignite movement \u2013 a movement dedicated to fostering innovation, launching dreams and propelling the economic engine of our entire region,\u201d said BRI Executive Director Lisa Kliebert.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Bayou Region Incubator provides business incubation and co-working space for entrepreneurs striving to develop their own professional ventures. This space will be accessible to students in various stages of business development from ideation to validation, to launching and scaling a business.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The BRI plans to host approximately 40 to 50 startups and small businesses through different levels of <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/bayouregionincubator.org\/entrepreneurs\/membership-levels-2\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">membership<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, offering collaborative work and meeting spaces, private offices, multifunctional conference rooms and more. Through the incubator, local entrepreneurs will have access to trainings, guest speakers, networking opportunities, members-only resources, mentoring, entrepreneurial workshops, pitch competitions and professional development.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The incubator\u2019s mission is to grow and support a diverse, sustainable and inclusive economy in Louisiana\u2019s coastal community through intentional investments in entrepreneurship and small business development to assist industries addressing Louisiana\u2019s coastal crisis and strengthen the economic vitality following the negative effects of the pandemic and ongoing environmental threats to coastal communities.
