Only McNeese State  University has reported a higher figure \u2013 4.23 percent.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs we\u2019ve said before on several occasions, ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ has become the institution of choice for higher education in the Bayou Region and, increasingly, beyond,\u201d Dr. Stephen T. Hulbert, university president, said. \u201cThe new comparative enrollment figures are very encouraging, especially given the financial difficulties facing our state.
