THIBODAUX, La. \u2013 The second annual ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ <\/span>Gala and Awards for Excellence<\/span><\/a> is set to take place on Friday, March 21, 2025, from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Bollinger Memorial Student Union Cotillion Ballroom.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The evening celebrates the achievements of ÐÓ°É´«Ã½\u2019 distinguished alumni and supports the <\/span>ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Scholarship Fund<\/span><\/a>, providing outstanding students with the resources needed to further their education.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cLast year\u2019s Gala and Awards for Excellence was a tremendous success, bringing together our alumni, supporters and community to celebrate 75 years of excellence and achievement. We\u2019ve taken valuable feedback from attendees to enhance the experience this year. The event will be more social and engaging, introducing a refreshed dining service and shifting to cocktail attire for a more relaxed yet elegant atmosphere. We\u2019re excited to welcome everyone back for an unforgettable evening celebrating the accomplishments of the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ family.\u201d said Paige Pierce, director of ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Alumni Federation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The cocktail-attire event will begin with drinks, chef-inspired stations featuring heavy hors d’oeuvres, and a <\/span>silent auction<\/span><\/a>.<\/span> Then at 7:30 p.m., the Awards for Excellence Ceremony begins, with the night concluding at 9 p.m.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Individual tickets are $125 each and include complimentary cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Alumni Federation Members can purchase individual tickets at a discounted rate of $100 each. Please call <\/span>985-448-4111<\/b> to donate auction items, ask questions or to receive the Alumni Federation Member discount code.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sponsorships for the event are available, with a range of amenities from thank you gifts, reserved Gala parking and tables, to sideline or President\u2019s Suite passes for ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ home football games. Each sponsor will be featured on all promotional materials for the Gala.
