The recipient must demonstrate a financial need and can be in any business major. Students may be of any classification ranging from a freshman to a graduate student and from one of the following parishes:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lafourche<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Terrebonne<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">St. Mary<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Pointe Coupee<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">West Feliciana\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">East Baton Rouge<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">West Baton Rouge<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Livingston<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Synergy Bank has a history and reputation of giving back to the community through service and would like the recipient to mirror that philosophy in volunteerism at their high school, college or community. One scholarship will be awarded per year in the amount of $500, with $250 dispersed in the fall and spring semesters. The award may be increased as the endowment grows.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Foundation, an independent 501(c)3 corporation, exists to support the mission of ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ by seeking gifts and grants and by managing those funds and other assets to support ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ through endowed chairs, professorships, scholarships and other <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">enhancement efforts.
