{"id":9885,"date":"2025-03-06T11:24:25","date_gmt":"2025-03-06T17:24:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nicholls.edu\/news\/?p=9885"},"modified":"2025-03-06T11:24:25","modified_gmt":"2025-03-06T17:24:25","slug":"nicholls-foundation-to-host-8th-annual-give-n-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nicholls.edu\/news\/2025\/03\/06\/nicholls-foundation-to-host-8th-annual-give-n-day\/","title":{"rendered":"ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Foundation to Host 8th Annual Give-N-Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">THIBODAUX, La. \u2013 Advanced giving is now available for ÐÓ°É´«Ã½\u2019s eighth annual Give-N-Day, a 24-hour fundraising event where donors can give to specific campus organizations. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">With the assistance of the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Foundation, t<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">his year\u2019s event is set to take place on <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tuesday, March 18, 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Give-N-Day was first organized in 2018 as a tool for campus organizations to raise money in a way they couldn\u2019t before. Now, this annual event is open to all colleges, departments, student organizations and athletics across campus. Donors have the opportunity to choose exactly where their funds will be allocated with every cent going directly to the donor\u2019s organization(s) of choice.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Going into the eighth<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.givenday.org\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Give-N-Day<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, the<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/nichollsfoundation.org\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Foundation<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> has <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">raised over $1.2 million across the university\u2019s various colleges, departments, athletics and student organizations. ÐÓ°É´«Ã½\u2019 2024 Give-N-Day raised over $205,000 with over 1,300 donors and 1,850 donations\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Help ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ top last year\u2019s numbers by going to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.givenday.org\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">www.givenday.org<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> to decide where you\u2019d like to make an impact on campus.
