Where do I park?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Employees<\/strong> must park only where the space or curb is red<\/strong> and need an employee permit.<\/p>\n

Visitors<\/strong> can park in white<\/strong> visitor spaces or gray<\/strong> student spaces but must have a visitor permit<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Students<\/strong> must park in gray<\/strong> or unpainted<\/strong> spaces. Commuters need a commuter decal and must park only in their zones (i.e. not in a lot directly connected to a residence hall, family housing, or La Maison du Bayou). Residents need a residential decal and can only park in the lots or street spaces next to a campus residence.<\/p>\n

Employees and students are never considered a visitor and cannot park in white visitor spaces.<\/p>\n

Handicap<\/strong> spaces are designated with blue<\/strong> paint. Anyone parked in a handicap zone must display a valid ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ permit and either a current DMV hang-tag or an official handicap license plate.<\/p>\n

Students and employees should use the Parking Permit Application Form<\/a> to apply for annual parking permits when available.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Disagree with your citation?<\/h3>\n

Anyone who has received a parking or traffic citation who believes the citation is unwarranted according to the parking guidelines may appeal the citation online<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Appeals must be received prior to the due date on the citation.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ community looks forward to seeing you around campus. However, we also want to make sure you don’t go home with a parking ticket.<\/p>\n

The Office of Parking Services issues decals, parking permits and visitor passes. It is also responsible for ticketing illegally parked vehicles and administering the citation appeals process.<\/p>\n

Everyone who parks on the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ campus is required to get a parking permit. Student, faculty\/staff and visitor permits can be obtained from the Office of Parking Services located at University Police in Calecas Hall.<\/p>\n

Don’t take any chances. Any vehicle without a parking permit properly displayed may receive a parking ticket of $20 for each violation.<\/p>\n
