ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ prohibits unlawful manufacture, distribution, possession and use of any narcotics, barbiturates, amphetamines, marijuana or any other controlled substance as defined in Schedule I through V of Section 202 of the Controlled Substance Act (21 U.S.C. 812) and as further defined by regulation at 21 CFR 1308.11 through 1308.15.<\/p>\n
The university prohibits the unlawful use or sale of any alcoholic beverages as well as their possession or consumption in any form on the university campus except in those areas where the president or his designee has authorized the serving or sale of legal beverages in accordance with applicable policies and laws.<\/p>\n
Any person in violation of the above policies will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment or suspension from the university, and unlawful violations will be subject for referral to the appropriate authorities for prosecution. Revocation of certain federal licenses and benefits, e.g., pilot licenses, public housing tenancy, etc., are vested within the authorities of individual federal agencies.<\/p>\n
Students and employees who have violated any of these policies may be required to participate in an alcohol\/drug abuse assistance program or rehabilitation program.<\/p>\n
Students, visitors, and employees are expected to adhere to all federal, state and local laws.<\/p>\n
